By my side

This is a picture that shouldve been finished a LOOOOONG time ago! And i feel terrible that i just completed it...i guess i sorta lost inspiration on it D; (imsosorryimaterribleperson)

Its supposed to be for a friend of my boyfriends , his names Bill. He n Bill met through this game called Wartune . Bill was goin through some hard times it seems because , sadly , his mom passed away... my boyfriend showed me his youtube channel [link] , and he made a video tribute of his mother. She seemed like a lovely lady.
My boyfriend told me that apparently his whole family was into fishing , hence why i was inspired to do a picture of Bill in a boat fishing , with his mom. Kinda like a lil symbolic message for him sayin , shes always there beside ya , even when waters look rough , theres always clear waters ahead...
If youre wonderin why the fish is so huge...heh its not really big , i tried doing a bit of a perspective thingy , where the fish is just closer ;u;
I dont particularly like this piece that much , i feel i couldve done better , and painting just isnt my style i guess ;u; especially when it comes to people...i prefer the anime style TuT , but i really hope you , and Bill especially , like the picture
